Dairy Free

A dairy-free diet is, you guessed it, one free of all sources of dairy, including milk, cheese, yoghurt and ice cream. Choosing dairy-free could be due to health, ethical reasons, allergy or intolerance.

Dairy is known to contain calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and the vitamins B2 and B12, which are all important in the growth of bones and teeth, but you can get your calcium intake from sources other than milk, like fish, leafy vegetables, seeds & nuts, legumes and whole grains. There are also many alternatives to dairy milk like soy, almond, coconut, oat, rice and hemp milk, all of which you can sub in your essential cup of coffee.
